Andy Coates is the Vice President of the Certificated Enforcement Agents Association, and was a founding member.

The new Association has emerged, after a period of disquiet and concern over the future of individual bailiffs and smaller specialist enforcement firms, who traditionally have worked closely with local authorities in collecting debts such as Council Tax, Penalty Charge Notices and other sundry debts.

CEAA will promote and deliver training to all those working within the industry through its strategic delivery partners, improving standards of service for all those involved in the enforcement sector.

Andy Coates is a full member of the Association of British Investigators.

With origins dating back to 1913, the Association of British Investigators is now recognised as the premier professional body for private investigators working in the United Kingdom. Throughout its long history, the Association has worked hard to improve the standing and reputation of the investigative professional.

The Association organises many seminars and workshops. These are designed to maintain standards and to provide a regular flow of information to the regional membership. A wide range of topics are covered, including changes to the law, and the latest trends and developments in techniques and equipment.

Andy has been a full member since 1996 and has held numerous posts within the association. He served for 5 years on the National Governing Council and served for many years as Northern Branch Chairman a post he currently holds.

Andy Coates is a full member of the Association of Professional Process Servers.

Founded in 2012 the aim of the Association of Professional Process Servers is to raise awareness and standards across the process server industry.

The association works with its members to inform and assist with the on-going changes in practices and legislation.

The association is open to process servers, investigators and certificated enforcement agents across England and Wales.

All members need to hold professional indemnity insurance and be DPA notified.

Andy was a founder member of the association, and currently serves on the governing council.

Andy Coates is an Associate member of the British Police and Canine Services Association.

Association membership is open to serving and ex-serving officers from the Police, Prison Service, Armed Services and Security companies involved in the handling and training of service dogs.

The BPSCA’s purpose is to promote communication and an exchange of information on all matters relating to service canines both in the UK and abroad.
